Fire has damaged a building in Southsea. The former Joanna's night club has burned down, damaging a sub-section of the neighboring South Parade Pier. Police is investigating the causes of the blaze. There is a possibility the fire has been caused by squatters finding shelter between the walls of the empty building. The building situated in front of South Parade Pier used to be a popular night spot and a club. It has been standing empty for a long period now. Neighboring buildings have been evacuated as a precaution.
